Subdivision Sewer Inspection Update
In June of this year an underground inspection company attempted to inspect all of the 8” sewer drains behind property lines by removing the green (beehive-like) tops and inserting telescopic recording cameras along the seventy-two(72) lot lines of Quail Run Subdivision. Technical reports were provided along with a thumb-drive of actual video of footage inspected. The cost was $2,298.47 or roughly $32.00 per lot owner.
These are the findings of the two days of inspection:
- Only thirty five (35) lots were fully inspected because of no restrictions from protruding sump pump lines into the 8” sewer drain.
- Thirty three (33) lots were not inspected due to restrictions in the 8” line from protruding sump pump lines or excessive water in the lines.
- Fourteen (14) lots that are around the pond were not easily available or not completed.
- For the lines inspected, it appears that the 8” drains are not damaged and working fine.
- If an issue (roots, protruding line, etc.) was identified for your individual sub pump line during this first round of inspections, you will be notified.
